Lots of people said they were gonna do it, but it looks like Justin Bieber may have actually turned over a new leaf for 2015.

Yesterday, we learned that Bieber agreed to a Comedy Central Roast, a move that showed uncharacteristic humility from a guy who’s famous for not having a sense of humor about himself.

Today, we found out that Justin may apologize for his past behavior at the Roast, and the whole event was reportedly his idea.

Now get ready for the real shocker:

Footage leaked online today shows famed pop star Justin Bieber…actually making music! Even more surprising? It’s not completely terrible!

That’s the Biebs’ crooning Edwin McCain’s "I’ll Be," as well as his own slow jam "Home to Mama."

Justin cuts some corners in terms of his guitar playing, but it sounds like his voice has survived the past three years of drunken drag racing, house egging, weed smoking debauchery.

It’s good to see Justin getting back into music making mode. He hasn’t released a new studio album since June of 2012.

He still makes headlines every day, but not for the reasons that his management team (or his fans) would like.

Could this acoustic session be the start of a kinder, gentler phase in the Biebs’ career?

Hopefully. But we also hope that he still busts out his saggy-pansted alter ego from time to time. It would be a boring world without the antics of JB Swag.
