Two key questions were left unanswered on The Good Wife Season 6 Episode 9.

Will Bishop have Cary killed?

A pretty important one, no? We opened the hour with the FBI playing a wire tap for Cary and Diane, one that was recorded five days ago in which Bishop told his man to kill Cary because they feared he’d flip.

Cary questioned the validity of this recording, but still agreed to have Kalinda hire him a bodyguard.

But Bishop noticed the bodyguard at the law firm one morning, making Cary concerned that Bishop would believe he actually had flipped.

Meanwhile, Kalinda convinced her FBI girlfriend, Lana Delaney, to let her have the wire tap in order to authenticate it via one of her sound guys.

Cary then put on a brave face and actually went to Bishop’s house. He told him he would never turn on the drug dealer, who responded by saying that, yes, he had threatened Cary’s life.

But it only said it in passing. In anger. He didn’t really mean it.

Cary walked away unsure what to believe, as Kalinda verified the tape and Delaney ended the hour by being summoned into her boss’ office and told that someone leaked the wire tap.

Can Frank Prady be trusted?

This was the question with which Alicia wrestled.

When you watch The Good Wife online, you’ll see that Prady doesn’t just tell Alicia he wants to run a clean campaign; he hands her a shoebox filled off negative items gifted to him by Castro.

Elfman, of course, has a negative ad all ready to go, but Alicia is hesitant to use it. She’s also a bit distracted by some of the photos in the shoebox, as they appear to prove Peter is having an affair with Ramona.

She confronts him about it and he denies it, but she makes it clear she doesn’t believe him and that he better zip up his pants and "stop banging the help," if only for the sake of their careers.

(Viewers later see that Peter and Ramona are totally having an affair.)

In the end, Prady’s PAC releases a negative ad, while someone in Alicia’s campaign also leaks on.

Alicia ends up on the phone with Prady, both sides wondering how to keep things clean. The only answer Alicia can come up with is to tell her opponent they must "resist" the temptation to go in the opposite direction.

But will they actually be able to do so as things heat up?
