Sunday on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 2, Kandi decided to buy her mom a new house, while Apollo dropped another bombshell on the cast.
And then there's Kenya. There's always drama with Kenya ... and Apollo.
When The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 2 picked up after last week's ratings record-setting premiere, the fireworks were still in full effect.
Apollo actually tried to make amends with Kenya Moore, admitting that he had lied about her wanting to have sex with him in L.A. during last season.
"I apologize to you. It was a lie," Nida said of the allegation he made.
Was it too little, too late for Kenya? As she noted, and you know if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, this claim infuriated other cast members.
"You don't get what I've been through because of the things you said to your wife," said Moore to Nida. "She [said] I did these things, and they believed it."
"I've never been anyone's whore. Have I ever seen you in L.A.?"
"Kenya, you have never seen me in L.A.," admitted Apollo.
"I know where I'm going, and I need my slate to be clear."
Apollo Nida checked into prison in September to serve an eight-year sentence for fraud. It'll take a lot longer for his slate to fully be clear, but for Kenda?
"In this moment, I truly feel vindicated," Moore remarked.
"But I won't be vindicated until Phaedra apologizes."
Good luck with that.
Meanwhile, Kandi Burruss' Mama Joyce is getting a new house - courtesy of Kandi - DOWN THE STREET from Burruss and husband Todd Tucker, who Joyce hates.
"I think you're soft," Todd told wife Kandi after she informed her of this plan. "You're gonna buy her another house? When is she going to be happy?"
Maybe now? At least for the next 30 seconds?
"Miss Hard-to-Please loves it," Mama Joyce said after Burruss showed her the new digs and acknowledging her own reputation for being ... what's the word ...
"You're happy?" Kandi exclaimed, happily. "You're right down the street! Hopefully, one day you'll get a new baby. I haven't been on birth control in a year."
That TMI reveal led to the quote of the night.
"Are you sure Todd hasn't had a vasectomy?" Mama Joyce asked, deadpanning in her usual Mama Joyce style and setting herself up for the zinger.
"Because I dreamt it."
