Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are singing a very happy tune at the moment.

Why?

Because the famous artists are engaged!

Hey, it only took five years.

On Tuesday, Stefani took to her Instagram page to share the exciting news, posting a photo of her engagement ring (and fiance) and writing as a caption:

"@blakeshelton yes please!"

Shortly afterward, Blake sent a message to his bride-to-be on Instagram, writing:

"Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!"

The mega huge announcement comes just weeks after the former No Doubt crooner told Extra that she thought it was "pretty cute" when people referred to Shelton as her husband.

"Do you know how many people say my ‘husband’ about him?" she said, referring to Shelton. "I guess we’re just together."

They have been for quite a long time, too.

And they’ve never been shy about their feelings for each other; either on social media or as co-coaches on The Voice.

In March 2019, rumors spread that the couple was very much planning to wed, but Stefani had some religious concerns.

In what sense?

In the sense that Stefanii got divorced from Gavin Rossdale years ago, but the Catholic Church strongly growns upon such a legal decision.

As a result, the singer was allegedly looking intoo getting the marriage annulled instead, which would mean that it never actually happened in God’s eyes… which would open the door for her union with Shelton to be blessed from above.

Shelton’s rep, meanwhile, has confirmed to E! News that the long-time duo got engaged the weekend of October 17 in Oklahoma.

That’s all we really know at thos time.

The superstars, who met on the set of The Voice, have been practically inseparable ever since they first started hooked back in November of 2015.

They most recently won a CMT Music Award on October 21 for their "Nobody But You" collaboration.

According to a variety of insiders back at the time, Shelton and Stefani bonded over their divorces, the former from Miranda Lambert and the latter from Rossdale.

“When you’re where she and I were, and you just feel so betrayed and on bottom, this bond that we formed when we found out what each other were going through, it’s still there,” Shelton previously told People Magazine.

Elsewhere, in an interview with Billboard, Shelton recalled falling hard for his fellow singer, explaining how the two ultimately helped each other through their heartache.

"I won’t forget that day," he saiid, "I looked over at Gwen — who I didn’t really know — and she had these huge tears in her eyes."

The 44-year-old star continued in that piece:

"I thought it was going to be another one of those ‘things are going to be OK’ talks.

She said, ‘I’m going through something very similar to what you’re going through. I understand. And I hate it…

"Gwen saved my life. Who else on earth could understand going through a high-profile divorce from another musician?"

Stefani has three kids (Kingston Rossdale, Zuma Rossdale, and Apollo Rossdale) from her previous marriage to the aforementioned Bush singer.

Blake, as cited above, was previously married to Lambert, finalizing his divorce from her the summer of 2015.

He was also married to Kaynette William from 2003 to 2006.

CONGRATULATIONS TO GWEN STEFANI AND BLAKE SHELTON!
