Not everything that is appropriate for adults is appropriate for children. Unfortunately, some people can get a little carried away.
A thid party was selling T-shirts that read "Daddy’s Little Slut" on them, and they came in children’s sizes.
The outrage was so intense that Amazon has banned the shirts from their site. Well, almost.

On Friday, Amazon banished an array of children’s shirts from their store after people on social media shared their horror.
The "Daddy’s Little Slut" shirts, when worn by children and babies, could only be interpreted to mean two things.
One: that the child in question was sexually promiscuous in a way that made their fathers proud, which is not a great message for, say, a 6-year-old.
Two: the absolute horror of intergenerational incest, which continues to be frighteningly real to countless victims of it.

The shirt, offered by OnlyBabyCare, was on sale for $18.
TMZ reports that these shirts had been on sale on Amazon for months, dating back to June.
They were originally listed for $36.
The audacious Amazon page suggested the shirts for "playing outside, birthday party, baby shower, baptism, wedding, baby photography, daily wear, family day."

On a positive note, at least the shirts were unisex. We wouldn’t want boys or nonbinary kids feeling excluded.
"All sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action," Amazon explains to TMZ.
Amazon says that this is "including potential removal of their account."
"The product in question is no longer available," Amazon concludes. That is technically true.

As you can see from the screenshots that we have included, these shirts are still available — but only in adult sizes.
They are sold for men and for women, and range from Small to 3XL.
I’m what you might call a "humorless SJW" if you use that kind of term unironically, but when it comes to adults wearing these shirts? It’s great.
Don’t wear it to Disneyland or anywhere that service employees will be uncomfortable, but by all means, wear one where appropriate.

(It is taking all of my strength to not buy one of these for a friend right now)
You know, there are a number of shirts in circulation, some designed only for babies, that weirdly sexualize them.
Shirts that say "Ladies Man" or "Boob Guy" on babies are just weird.
The LGBTQ+ community has parodied these shirts on social media, saying "My Straight Son (Who’s Straight) Will F–k Your Wife."

Projecting weird sex jokes onto children is just not appropriate — not for the child and not for anyone who reads what the shirt says.
You know what is great without sexualizing anyone at all?
Taking the things written on dog vests as warnings and putting them on T-shirts for humans.
Everyone I know wants a shirt that reads "not keen on men" like in that one dog photo from Twitter.

This photo surfaced earlier this year on Twitter and it remains extremely good.
Anyway, while there’s a lot to be said about "daddy dom/little girl" BDSM roleplay relationships between adults, they are adults.
Putting a shirt with the word "slut" on it just isn’t appropriate for a minor. Yes, even if the description is accurate. Maybe especially if it’s accurate.
Good for Amazon for pulling those kids shirts. Now will they please stop selling the Pearls child-torture manual?
