Oh, how the Batfleck has fallen.
It wasn’t all that long ago that Ben Affleck was speeding around the city at top speed, crashing through plate glass windows and punching out villains. He also played Batman!
But then Affleck got sober, and things settled down a bit.
These days, Ben’s life is considerably more subdued — but perhaps it’s also a bit more lonely.
Affleck got back together with Lindsay Shookus after his latest stint in rehab, but it wasn’t long before he and the SNL producer called it quits again.
These days, Shookus is dating Jon Hamm; Ben’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner is getting serious with John Miller; and that Playboy model he was banging for a bit … well, she might have a John or two of her own. Who knows?
As for Ben, he’s looking for love in all the millennial places with the help of an exclusive new dating app.
According to The New York Post, Ben has opened an account on Raya, which is basically Tinder for the rich and famous.
While the app is populated largely by celebs (admins employ a mysterious vetting process similar to the one Twitter uses in handing out its blue checkmarks), it seems Affleck is more interested in wealthy civilians.
“He seems to want a real partner and is not looking to date a celebrity," says a source.
"He is private and is in a good space right now,” the insider adds.
But not in, like, such a good place that he would be willing to date a poor, ya know?
“He has his kids and is focusing on work, but is ready to be in love again,” the tipster continues.
And not surprisingly, it seems it hasn’t been too difficult for the rich, handsome movie star to line up a date or two.
A separate source tells the Post that Ben was recently spotted on what appeared to be a romantic night out at the Hotel Bel-Air.
“It seemed innocent, like a first date. He was in a good [mood], and they both seemed really into each other,” says the eyewitness.
“There was no overt PDA or anything like that. They were having dinner.”
Earlier this month, Affleck was spotted having dinner with Laurene Jobs, the widow of late Apple founder Steve Jobs.
Insiders say that relationship is completely platonic, however.
We’re guessing Laurene lost interest when she found out Bruce Wayne is just a character Ben played, and he’s not actually a billionaire with a fondness for black clothing and high-tech gadgets.
