Nicki Minaj: I'm Retiring From the Music Industry, Bishes!

by at .

Nicki Minaj has made some extraordinary, life-changing songs during her career. She has also made some wildly not-okay choices.

Her newest decision is upsetting even her most fanatical fans, however.

She's leaving the music industry and retiring. And she already knows what she's doing next. ...

Rap legend Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to share some truly heartbreaking news.

"I’ve decided to retire & have my family," Nicki reveals.

The idea of her ending her career in her thirties -- most people dream of doing that, but

"I know you guys are happy now," she accuses.

She is referring to the scores of trolls who harass her on social media.

"To my fans," Nicki writes. "Keep reppin me, do it til da death of me,"

Nicki's tweet continues, getting increasingly lyrical.

"X in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me," she writes.

She then assures her fans and followers -- the ones who actually appreciate her -- that this has nothing to do with them.

"Love you for LIFE," Nicki affirms in conclusion.

That message alone was, of course, not enough for her fans, who went into shock.

"Can u please just address this retirement thing," one follower implores.

The fan complains: "You e never left us so hurt your entire career."

"We’re just hurting Nicki :(" the follower laments.

The tweet concludes: "it’s US it’s the barbz plz..."

Nicki quote-tweeted her follower and tried to be as reassuring as possible.

"I’m still right here," she promises. "Still madly in love with you guys & you know that."

"In hindsight," Nicki admits. "This should’ve been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy."

"No guests," she says. "Just us talking about everything."

"The tweet was abrupt & insensitive," Nicki acknowledges. "I apologize babe."

Nicki is 36 and will turn 37 before the year ends.

That is a very normal age for a Millennial to decide to have children.

(That is, if they have the inclination and, even rarer, the financial means to support a family in this hellish nightmare world and economy)

Some celebrities balance their careers with becoming parents. Others prioritize having kids and bid farewell to the limelight.

With all of her awards, accolades, and an estimated net worth of $85 million, Nicki can certainly retire without regrets.

Nicki Minaj and Boobs

There is one thing very wrong with Nicki's plan, and it has nothing to do with the end of her career.

Nicki's boyfriend is a rapist. It's not a secret.

Even many dedicated Nicki fans were disgusted that she doesn't seem to care about embracing a sexual predator with open arms.

Sadly, this isn't even the first time that she's done so. It's strange and disturbing to see someone not seem to care about good and evil.

If Nicki wants to have her family, it sounds like she wants Kenneth Petty to be her baby daddy.

Rapists shouldn't ever be free, let alone be allowed to become parents, for a whole host of reasons. Nicki needs to wake tf up.
