Christine Brown is not here to talk about the controversy that continues to swirl around Sister Wives.
Is Meri actually gonna leave? Could Kody really be in the market for a fifth wife? And when, exactly, does the new season premiere?
No. Christine isn't likely to comment on any of these pressing topics.
Ask about her weight loss, however, and...
... that's a different story.
A few days ago, the veteran reality star shared a new photo of herself in a floral dress -- and it didn't take long for an onslaught of complimentary comments to inundate her Comments section.
“How did you lose your weight everyone wants to know? Looking amazing,” one person wrote, to which Christine replied:
“I eat for my blood type and work out.”
Getting a lot of exercise is a typically normal way to shed some points, but Brown eats for her blood type?
Clearly curious, another follower asked Christine:
“Where do you find the information on eating for your blood type?”
Christine actually replied to this inquiry as well, writing: “Just online. I’ve read about it for years and I just did it. And I love it!”
We couldn't just let this apparent weight loss strategy go without digging in and doing some research.
Brown may be talking about the blood type diet, which a Harvard University health blog once described as being based on a book, Eat Right For Your Type, by Peter D’Adamo.
A naturopathic physician, the doctor claimed people could “be healthier, live longer, and achieve their ideal weight” by eating based on their blood type.
“The theory behind this diet is that blood type is closely tied to our ability to digest certain types of foods,” Robert H. Shmerling, MD, wrote on the aforementioned blog.
However, he noted, “there is no proven connection between blood type and digestion.”
We have nothing to add here, really; Christine's new diet has simply attracted a lot of social media attention and it seemed worth highlighting for a few minutes.
Elsewhere, rumors have also been floating around about Sister Wives returning with new episodes on January 7, 2020.
It's been a very long time since we saw Kody and his family members in televised action, with viewers around the country awfully curious about where things stand.
In particular when it comes to Meri.
Simply put, she sounds like she's in a pretty awful place these days.
