This is all just happening too fast. I need a moment.

Ok, so just two days ago Liam Hemsworth filed for a divorce to end his eight-month marriage to Miley Cyrus, citing that it was due to "irreconcilable differences".
Sources close to the couple told TMZ that the two had signed a prenuptial agreement, so luckily there will be no nasty fighting over their money since they kept their finances separate.
However, there is still one big part of their legal battle that many of you are probably wondering about.
Who gets custody of their children?!
By children, I, of course, mean their 7 dogs, 2 horses, 2 mini horses, 3 cats, and one pig.

But apparently, that’s been figured out as those multiple sources told the outlet that Miley gets to keep them all.
Ouch. He can’t keep just one dog? Or the pig? Really?
"Hemsworth won’t contest it, although he legally could in California," shared the source.

If Liam wanted to fight for his babies, the truth is, he could!
California has a new law that allows judges to determine which party is best suited to keep the animals; the judge even has the power to award joint custody of household pets.
We love that Liam wants to keep the divorce short and sweet, but come on, no one needs that many animals for themselves.
Besides, he is the one who saved them all from the Woosley fires last year in Malibu! (and that scientifically makes him 1,000x hotter than he already is)

Cyrus previously spoke to Howard Stern about Hemsworth’s heroic actions after their Malibu home tragically burned to the ground.
"My partner, I call him my survival partner now," Cyrus said. "He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that it is."
"That is why you pair up with someone, for survival, and he was so incredible."
"He got all the animals out in his truck… he got a lot of action for saving the animals. We had to make sure he knew I was very, very grateful," she explained.

But in this case, Liam thinks there is no contest and that Miley deserves their entire petting zoo.
According to the sources, Miley is the one who gave almost all of the animals a home anyway — mainly through adoption — and she’s extremely passionate about them.
We know Miley will take great care of her farm, we just feel for Liam!

Hemsworth also shared many photos of him and Cyrus with their pets on his Instagram throughout their relationship, so it’s very sad to think of him losing not just the love of his life, but now all of his furry children too.
On a good note, this divorce is going very smoothly!
And on another note, we hope Kaitlynn Carter is an animal person.
