June Shannon has risen to fame over the last couple years due to her starring role on the reality show From Not to Hot.
But the eccentric mother of a former child beauty pageant contestant doesn't exactly look her best in a mugshot that just went viral, courtesy of the Alabama Police Department.
Check it out here:
For those just catching up, Shannon was arrested in Macon County late last week after officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a gas station.
The arrest took place after a domestic dispute call that allegedly stemmed from June's boyfriend, Geno Doak, reportedly threatening to kill Shannon.
Once the authorities arrived, sources say that Geno admitted to having a needle in his possession, while police searched the vehicle and found crack cocaine.
Mama June was then taken into custody.
According to various news outlets, Shannon was apprehended pn suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia; Doak, meanwhile, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and domestic violence.
But the details of what supposedly transpired are super duper weird...
Per TMZ insiders, Shannon actually told the cops that the SUV in which she and Geno were sitting belonged to her -- as did everything inside of it.
Indeed, she took the blame for the drugs the police discovered.
Mama June then went ahead and told the officers that the white substance they found was crack cocaine. Oh, and she also had $1,340 in cash in her bra.
A day after these arrests, Geno was ordered by a judge to stay away from Shannon... but then the two two hit up a casino together on Saturday, mere hours later.
We covered these unusual details in the slideshow below:
Shannon and Doak were spotted at a slot machine at the aforementioned casino in Wetumpka, Alabama around 3 a.m., looking both very serious and also very cozy with each other.
For what it's worth, Doak has a lengthy criminal history that includes theft, burglary and criminal damage to property
He and Shannon have been a couple for three years, with various From Not to Hot episodes teasing that a wedding would soon be on the way.
Mama June, you'll recall, first made a name for herself as the mother of Alana Thompson, a young girl nicknamed "Honey Boo Boo" whose beauty pageant exploits were at the center of a program titled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."
It aired on TLC from August 2012 through August 2014.
WEtv has not officially addressed the arrest or the status of Mama June: From Not to Hot to this point.
In an ironic and/or coincidental twist, Season 3 of the reality show premiered on Friday -- and Mama June actually live-tweeted the event.
"Hey y'all sorry my internet has been down and where I'm at does not have cable that picks up WeTV but hopefully u r watching my outrageous moments," she shared that evening.
Shannon even went on to heaped praise on Geno Doak at the time.
"I have to say so very sweet what geno said yeah it is not an engagement but hey if you do a promise then hey I can get another ring out of it LOL," she wrote online.
It was less sweet when he allegedly threatened to murder her earlier the same day.
But, hey, no one is perfect, right?
