Tragic news out of Hollywood today, as beloved actor Luke Perry has reportedly passed away after suffering a stroke last week.
The actor, best known for his work on Beverly Hills, 90210, was just 52 years old.
News of Perry's death was first reported by TMZ.
The celebrity news site claims Perry passed quietly at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, Calif., Monday morning.
Luke was in the company of a large group of loved ones who gathered to say goodbye as he passed away.
Luke was surrounded by his children, Jack and Sophie, his fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, his ex-wife Minnie Sharp, his mother Ann Bennett, his step-father Steve Bennett, his brother Tom Perry and his sister Amy Coder.
In addition to his decade-defining work on Beverly Hills, 90210, Perry was a regular on the popular CW series Riverdale.
He had also recently wrapped filming on Quentin Tarantino's upcoming project Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
On the small screen, Perry will always be culturally adored as Dylan McKay, though he starred in a number of other series as well.
Among his other TV credits are stints are Another World, Oz, Jeremiah, Windfall, John from Cincinnati, and Body of Proof.
Perry was also an accomplished voice actor, with roles in such varied projects as Biker Mice from Mars, Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm, The Legend of Calamity Jane, The Incredible Hulk.
While Perry's death has not yet been officially confirmed, a rep for the actor issued a statement to TMZ strongly indicating that he is no longer with us.
"The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world," says the spokesperson.
Perry's co-stars and famous friends offered many kind words of support on social media following news of his stroke.
“My friend. Holding you tight and giving you my strength,” wrote Shannen Doherty, who portrayed Perry's love interest Brenda Walsh on 90210.
“You got this.”
“No words can express what my heart feels hearing today’s shocking news. Let us all say a prayer for his speedy recovery," wrote fellow co-star Ian Ziering.
"Thinking of you, Luke. And praying for a safe recovery," tweeted Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart along with the above photo of herself and Perry.
