On February 1st, just a few days ago, Stormi Jenner had her very first birthday!
And yeah, we know Jenner isn't her actual last name, but ... come on.
But yes, on Friday, Stormi became a one-year-old.
She officially moved out of the infant stage, and now Kylie is the mother to a precious little toddler.
Time is going by so fast, right?
It's almost enough to bring a tear to your eye.
Except not Kourtney Kardashian's eye, apparently.
If you can even believe this, Kourtney had the nerve to do things on Stormi's birthday that were not about Stormi.
Like, she actually thought it was OK to go about her life and do things she'd normally do while her youngest sibling's only child turned one.
We assume that Kourtney did several things that day for her own selfish benefit, but the one that has people talking is this photo she shared on Instagram:
So yeah, it's super hot.
But, as several people noted, she shared this without one single mention of Stormi's birthday.
Seriously, this was an issue for many of her followers.
"So f-ck Stormi right," one person commented.
Another follower told her "It's Stormi's day not yours."
"She can't even say happy birthday to Stormi lawd why," one person lamented.
Another wrote "All the family was wishing Stormi a Happy Birthday and she post this pic. How very rude and self centered."
There were actually people who said they were unfollowing her because of this slight against Kylie's baby.
Don't worry though -- Kourtney didn't take the insults lying down.
Yet another one of these negative comments came from someone who wrote "The most touching birthday wish for Stormi."
"She doesn't have Instagram yet, but Stormi if you're reading this Happy 1st Birthday!"
This is a good example of why Kourtney is the best Kardashian.
Well, this and that photo she shared.
But while that brilliant comment did win her a lot of praise, it also ruffled more feathers.
As one of those poor offended souls wrote "I see people saying way to go Kourt best clap back and all this BS but best clap back against a baby?"
"She has never been my favorite but its time to hit that unfollow."
People are just wild, huh?
Kourtney's comment was a "clap back," as the kids say, but she was clapping back at the people who thought there was a problem with her post, not Stormi herself.
Is that honestly so hard to understand?
Perhaps these people should be less upset with Kourtney and more upset with their elementary school teachers for clearly failing them.
Reading comprehension is so important, friends.
There's also the fact that, as difficult as this may be to believe, social media posts are not always indicative of someone's feelings.
In this case, perhaps Kourtney actually spent time with Stormi for her birthday, or gave her a call or something.
And just in case you need those Instagram posts to believe in love, she did post a photo of her niece in her story.
So can we lay off this woman, please?
At the very least, can we not discourage her from posting nearly nude photos?
