In photos, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner seem cozy or even borderline incestuous.

But a new report says that the reality is very different.

Has Kylie and Kendall’s rivaly really gotten so bad that they now hate each other?

Kendall, Kylie and Kourtney

RadarOnline reports that Kendall and Kylie can’t stand each other anymore, and hate seeing each other succeed.

Apparently, one major sticking point is envy.

"Kendall figures it’s crazy how much Kylie’s worth [an estimated $900M]," the insider reports.

The source continues: "while she’s only got a fraction of that [approx. $50M] in the bank herself."

The insider goes on to claim that the sisters "can’t really stand each other and have nothing in common" anymore.

"There’s so much envy between these two," the source continues.

According to the insider: "it’s as though they’re not happy when the other’s doing well.”

“Kylie really rubs it in and it’s been a big issue lately," the source describes. "Because Kendall’s on the ascendency with her modeling."

"And," the insider says. "That’s gotten Kylie looking over her shoulder."

Shouldn’t siblings celebrate when the other succeeds?

What was once a close, sisterly bond has now reportedly become something cold, resentful, and painfully professional.

The source characterizes the relationship between Kylie and Kendall as "strictly business" these days.

"What’s crazy is that they’re both impossibly spoiled," the insider exclaims. "And have been rich since birth."

"But nothing seems to be enough," the source laments. "And their greed knows no bounds."

Sometimes it’s about greed — sometimes it’s just about defeating your rival.

We have to admit that we have our doubts as to the veracity of this story.

Sure, Kylie is way, way richer than Kendall.

Kylie is also richer than most people on the planet.

There are maybe 50 people in the United States with more money than Kylie has.

Maybe there’s some sort of sibling rivalry, since Kylie is younger and she and Kendall are so close in age.

But let’s take a closer look at why this probably doesn’t add up.

Kendall Jenner with a Smile

Kendall is just never going to make the kind of dough through modeling that Kylie has made through makeup.

Kendall can pull down six figures in a single show, but Kylie is tied with Jay-Z for the rank of fifth wealthiest celebrity in America.

The only way that you get to billionaire status with modeling is if you use that hotness to secude and marry a billionaire.

So we don’t see the two of them competing with each other as adults realistically.

Maybe Kendall resents Kylie for her wealth, but that’s different from a sibling rivalry.

And, from a certain point of view, Kendall is the winner.

Baby Stormi Webster is adorable beyond reason, but … Kylie got pregnant with her when she was just 19.

Kylie is fabulously wealthy, but after a certain point, what good is wealth when you voluntarily ended the youth phase of your life before you were even old enough to drink.

(We’re not saying that alcohol is a vital part of life — just highlighting how extraordinarily young Kylie was when she gave birth)

Kendall, in the mean time, still has more money than anyone but Heidi Montag could spend in one lifetime.

She’s young, she’s the hottest member of her very famous family, and she’s one of the most highly paid models in the world.

Kylie’s living it up, but Kendall is the one who gets to live her life, child-free, for years to come.

Kiss Me... Kendall?

We would like to believe a very plausible explanation for why the two have missed some of each other’s milestones in recent years.

Maybe they’re both just young, professional women with very different lives that keep them very busy.

Kylie has a business and a baby.

Kendall has to balance her modeling career with downtime and with boning Ben Simmons.

Hopefully, they both understand that and can be happy for each other’s accomplishments.

The Kardashians aren’t just a game of musical chairs where there can be only one winner.

All of them can win. Well, except for Rob.
