Back in November, The Bachelor Nation learned that Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham have a baby on the way.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. took to Instagram to answer questions from fans.

And yes, even after that stunt he pulled with Becca and Lauren, he still has fans — and they want to know all about this baby.

"What is most exciting about being a dad?" one fan asked.

"So many things," Arie replied in his Instagram stories. "But mostly doing this together with her."

In addition to gushing about Lauren, however, he still had more to say.

"I can’t wait to meet this little person that has already grabbed our hearts," Arie concluded.

Arie also revealed more about their experience, including his reaction upon first learning that he was about to be a father.

"Honestly I had tears in my eyes and Lauren was in shock haha," Arie confessed.

Fans noticed Arie’s gender-neutral language but are wondering when they can learn what sex of baby the couple is expecting.

Arie isn’t saying — but he says that he and Lauren do plan to share.

"The plan," Arie shared. "Is to reveal on the Bachelor premiere."

Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor premieres on January 7, 2019.

That is very very soon, so fans will not have long to wait.

Eager fans will be happy to know that Arie and Lauren have been posting additional updates on their pregnancy.

Curiously, they’ve been posting as their unborn child. It’s weird but so is a lot of stuff that people do on social media.

"It’s Christmas! My 17-week b-day falls on Christmas and I’ve been getting so many presents!" their latest post reads.

"So this week," the post continues. "I’m the size of a turnip or a pomegranate!"

One can see Lauren’s very slight baby bump in this photo.

"I like to think of myself as a turnip this week because I think of the leaves as hair and that makes me laugh,” the caption says.

Pomegranates are delicious and beautiful, but okay.

“Don’t know if I’m looking forward to the whole birth thing yet," the  post continues. "But I have time to warm up to it."

"So if you’re wondering what I’ve been up to," the caption reads. "I grew a lot this week and now my little skeleton is forming from cartilage into bone and getting harder."

"I’m moving around more and more," the post shares. "Mom felt me kick for the first time and I’m planning on doing that some more, gotta stay active ya know?"

"That’s all for now," the caption concludes. "But I want to say Merry Christmas to everyone out there and talk to you next week."

Arie remains controversial within the Bachelor Nation.

From the beginning, many fans were perplexed that he was chosen, seemingly at random, over a number of fan-favorites.

Most understood that ABC is trying to entertain, which is not always the same thing as pleasing an audience.

But Arie shocked the world when, after choosing Becca Kufrin and proposing to her, he invited ABC’s cameras to watch him end their engagement.

Becca went on to star on The Bachelorette and get engaged to a dude who likes fishing and white supremacist memes.

Before that, Arie proposed to Lauren Burnham in front of an audience of millions.

But now he and Lauren have a baby on the way.

Whatever you think of this pairing, just hope that they provide a loving, stable environment for the life that they’re preparing to bring into the world.

We’ll all know more about this wee baby turnip before long.
