Little People, Big World...
... HUGE news!
Earlier this week, Isabel Rock took to her Instagram page and opened way up about how she's been feeling lately, mentioning as part of this post the date on which she will marry Jacob Roloff.
There's no sense in letting fans wait to find out, so here you go:
Jacob and Isabel will become husband and wife on September 7, 2019.
Roloff and Rock announced their engagement this past January, a few weeks after the former reality star proposed.
Explained the youngest son of Amy and Matt Roloff on Instagram at the time:
"...we got ENGAGED! It happened in Iceland on the frozen pond, Tjörnin, late on Christmas. So much love for this beautiful soul @izzysofia_ . Here’s to many more Christmas’, you n me."
Isabel later gushed over Jacob and seemed exciting about the couple's impending big day.
But she confesses to some inner turmoil in the bulk of this new Instagram message.
"I will be honest, because I value transparency and vulnerability on here," Rock wrote to open this caption, continuing as follows:
"This has been a really challenging season of life for me, and for us, and we have been in ‘transition’ for what feels like an eternity.
"I know it is all part of our journey, and I am trying to honor that while also manage my anxiety."
Interesting, huh? Raw, no?
Just a few days ago, Isabel didn't merely hint at tension between herself and the Roloffs -- she came right out and said it!
"NOTE TO SELF, STOP F-CKING EXPLAINING YOURSELF TO PEOPLE WHO ARE COMMITTED TO MISUNDERSTANDING YOU. Aka Jacob's entire family and part of mine," Isabel wrote.
Might something in this domain, something having to do with her future in-laws, be at the heart of what she's opening up about now?
Rock went on in her emotional Instagram entry:
"Planning a wedding, going back to school, finding a place to live that fits us and gives us a sense of community, always fixing our beloved van, while also trying to manage an art business has felt a wee bit overwhelming for me at times.
"I have faith that all of it will lead us to where we are supposed to be, and each day brings new blessings (trying so hard to believe that).
"Focusing on the present moment and recognizing that being engaged only exists for a short time, and soon enough—ONE YEAR FROM TODAY—we will finally be married and it will be the best day of our lives."
Rock tossed in the hashtag #rockandroloffwedding to conclude this caption.
Jacob and Isabel spent several days with the former's loved ones in Michigan this month.
Based on social media photos, the stars appeared to have a great time.
But you can't gauge every emotion in a photograph. You can't really know what's going in someone's life based on their social media feed.
Asked to describe Jacob's proposal a few months ago, this is what Isabel wrote:
"My heart started beating so fast. He handed me my gift; a tiny black box, inside of it a tiny bag, with a stunning turquoise ring.
"I slowly pulled it out, and to my complete surprise, it was a ring we had seen earlier that day - a handmade Icelandic ring that was my favorite color.
"But it was definitely not an engagement ring! Tripping over my words I said, 'Oh.. it’s.. it’s beautiful,' because it was, but I will admit I was completely thrown off!"
Right then, Jacob spun me around and said, 'Alright, one more gift…' and that is the moment he got down on one knee and asked the question I’d been longing to hear...
He asked with a ring box he had hand built out of real wood and my dream ring. I said 'YES!' and leapt into his arms to hug him and we both cried.
We wish these two the best, and we hope Isabel can work through the tough times these days in order to focus on the brighter ones ahead.
