Six days after he went viral for disrupting a Delta flight with taunts about a Donald Trump Presidency, an unidentified passenger has been banned from flying the airline again.
Like, ever again.
Video of this unruly Trump voter went viral last week, as over two million people shared footage of him standing up and asking others on board:
"We got some Hillary bitches on here?"
After receiving very few responses, the man acted surprised and simply screamed out DONALD TRUMP a few times.
He then returned to his seat, but not before adding:
"He's your president, every god damn one of you. If you don't like it, too bad."
Check out the controversial footage for yourself:
In a statement on Sunday, Delta apologized to passengers who were on the flight, saying the man shouldn't have been allowed to remain on board.
The company has received a great deal of backlash for not removing him at the time.
Then, in a memo released on Monday, Delta CEO Ed Bastian said the airline would refund everyone's tickets and that the man "will never again be allowed on a Delta plane."
This memo read as follows:
This individual displayed behavior that was loud, rude and disrespectful to his fellow customers.
After questioning the customer, our team members made the best decision they could given the information they had and allowed him to remain on the flight.
However, if our colleagues had witnessed firsthand what was shown in the video, there is no question they would have removed him from the aircraft.
The heightened tension in our society means that now more than ever we must require civility on our planes and in our facilities. We must stay true to Delta's core values and treat one another with dignity and respect.
To be clear, we do not think this man represents all Donald Trump voters.
There are plenty of people out there who voted for Trump because they believe he spoke more accurately to their economic concerns than Hillary Clinton.
However, the FBI has reported an increase in hate crimes since Trump was elected, while the Internet has been filled with examples of self-proclaimed Trump supporters ranting against anti-white discrimination.
Take this Chicago department store patron, for instance:
Or this guy below, who believed a Starbucks barista was slow to serve him coffee due to the color of his skin:
Trump is yet to speak out on any of these videos, not even the one of neo-Nazis treating him like Hitler.
But he does have a lot to say on Twitter about CNN and The New York Times!
