Would it help them? With one another or with Freeform ratings?

If you watch Ben and Lauren online, you know that while The Bachelor pair may be the world’s most boring humans, they are in love.

And with that love comes its share of ups and downs, people.

We kicked things off with Ben and Lauren joining friends Emily and Haley Ferguson, along with Lace Morris and Grant Kemp. The whole point of the meeting was for some group therapy.

It was in that therapy session that Ben revealed to Lauren that the wedding was off. This was met with much shock from Lauren, who was quite clearly blindsided.

"So you’re saying the wedding is off?" Lauren replied.

"Yeah, I am. The wedding’s off. … I think this thing sped up real fast, and we haven’t had a second to breathe," Ben countered back at her.

Like, the preparation for the wedding has been in overdrive with neither of them stopping for a breath. Ben previously wanted to make sure they were in it for the right reasons and I think he’s kind of worried they get married and the relationship fizzles out.

Maybe that’s why he’s wanting to slow things down. It’s understandable. He wants to make sure when they do eventually get married that they are both in the same place.

Lauren took issue with some of Ben’s comments about them not having done anything.

"When you say that we just haven’t done anything, it hurts because I’ve moved to Denver and had to switch jobs, and I left my life in L.A. to come and do the life with you."

Later, the couple met up with Chris Harrison to confirm the news, but he was surprisingly not mad about the decision.

"I’m sorry to hear the wedding’s off, but I just want what’s best for you," he claimed.

After Ben tried to get close to Lauren on the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Lauren revealed the couple are in crisis.

"I feel like Ben and I are miles apart, but we still have to pretend like we’re on the same page," she told the camera.

They then got schooled that there is no such thing as a perfect relationship, but the pair seem like they are ready to give up. We’ll need to wait to find out what happens.
