Would house hunting be fun or forever stressful for the soon-to-be newlyweds on Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? Season 1 Episode 4?
Tuesday's installment sought to answer that complicated question, with The Bachelor couple's ups and downs once again in the spotlight.
We started things off with Lauren's sister, Mollie, showing up to help the couple with their wedding registry. It was inevitable that there was going to be some conflict.
Ben revealed that he didn't want anything at the wedding they don't need.
He didn't want a fancy wedding so he was quick to veto having serving platters, a cake stand and other things.
Ben's negativity did not sit well with both Mollie and Lauren and they just continued making the list.
If things couldn't get more awkward for the couple, Ben reeled in his Bachelor ex, Lace Morris.
If you recall, she is a realtor and she showed the couple two houses.
The first home was a "fixer upper." It was clear that both Ben and Lauren were less than impressed with it.
The second home was Lauren's dream home, but it was way out of their budget. Lauren then started saying how great it would be to build their own home.
Ben made it clear their financial situation would not allow for it and Lauren had the most childish response.
“I don’t need you to tell me that, Dad,” Lauren snarled.
Maybe she was hoping the Freeform execs would fit the bill if the reality show was a hit.
Later, Lauren seemed to think that she would need to change careers because of her recognition.
This paved the way for Ben to lift the lid on his dream of owning a restaurant.
Lauren wanted to be a zoo keeper, but she quickly changed her mind when she realized just how important the job was.
Later, a passerby in a grocery store rudely asked if the couple sexted during their relationship, but the couple said they did not. The woman then proceeded to show them a picture she sent her husband.
Lauren decided that she was going to run a blog and Ben offered to help with a photo shoot, but Lauren got a professional in.
After not being able to do the pictures, he offered to do Lauren's makeup. It's blatantly obvious he's doing anything to keep the cameras on him.
At Lauren's launch party, Ben was a no-show and Lauren got worried. Later, Ben appeared with a large bouquet of flowers and Lauren's family members.
Later, Ben revealed to the camera he was not interested in the wedding planning and even bickered when they went to taste cakes.
Will they really be able to make this work?
