Earlier this week, Kylie Jenner appeared topless on the cover of Complex magazine.
The accompanying interview (which was overshadowed by the array of semi-nude photos) offered a number of surprising revelations about Kylie, her family, her cosmetic procedures, and perhaps most of all, her relationship with rapper Tyga.
Some have called it the most candid interview of Kylie's career.
Interestingly, it comes at a time when her famous siblings are attempting to keep lower profiles in the wake of Kim Kardashian being robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
Is Kylie attempting to seize the opportunity to complete her transformation into the new Kim?
We can't say for sure, but she's showing a lot of skin and spilling details about her relationship with an egomaniacal rapper, and aside from releasing a sex tape, those are the Kimmiest things she could do.
First, Kylie revealed that she felt insecure about dating when she was in her early teens, even going so far as to admit that she got lip injections because no one wanted to kiss her.
Within a year of obtaining her signature look, Kylie - just 17 - began dating 25-year-old Tyga.
Not the best situation for a young girl suffering from low self-esteem, and from the sound of things, Tyga's friends didn't exactly help matters:
"The first year we started hanging out, everyone around him told him not to be with me. I still get comments like, 'Don’t be with him,'"
That could've had something to do with the age difference, but not surprisingly, Kylie says she took it personally at the time.
Kylie says she now thinks T-Raww's friends were primarily concerned about the fact that the rapper's baby mama was, at the time, besties with Kylie's sister Kim.
Obviously, the whole situation got even uglier, and even more borderline incestuous when Blac got knocked up by Kylie's brother, Rob.
Despite all of that, Kylie says reports that she was feuding with Blac throughout most of last year are completely fabricated.
"I never fought with [Chyna] over social media in the beginning, but I understand where she was coming from and what place she was in," Kylie tells Complex.
"We’re totally fine. It’s all love."
Say what you will about Kylie, she's inherited Kris' ability to ignore the harshest disrespect in the name of maintaining the appearance of family unity.
