The Real Housewives of New York City is about to undergo a really big change.
In a statement released to Us Weekly, Kristen Taekman has confirmed that she's the latest cast member to depart the Bravo reality program.
"My experience during my time on RHONY was fantastic and I made some great new friends," the 38-year old says, explaining:
"At this time in my life, I have decided to concentrate on my family and my new business ventures Pop Of Color nail polish and Last Night's Look, my fashion blog.
"I will remain a Housewife and part of an amazing franchise forever and that is what is important."
Taekman joined the popular series in Season 6, making a name for herself by getting into water-tossing fight with Ramona Singer.
She also starred this past season opposite regular Bethenny Frankel, LuAnn de Lesseps, Singer, Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill and newcomer Dorinda Medley.
But while that season was mostly drama-free for Taekman, the opposite was said of her personal life:
In late August, Kristen's husband Jake admitted to being a member of Ashley Madison, the website that helps married people cheat on their spouses.
He apologized for signing up, though he never officially confirmed that he cheated on Kristen.
We all know he did, however.
Jake and Kristen share two kids, son Cassius, 5, and daughter Kingsley, 2.
