Simply put, according to a new report, Nicki Minaj really does think Miley Cyrus is a bitch.
On Sunday night, Minaj gave a heartfelt acceptance speech upon winning the trophy for Best Hip Hop Video at the MTV VMAs.
But she then made headlines by concluding this speech by throwing it back to Miley as host… and referring to the artist as the aforementioned B-Word.
Was this a legitimate beef? Or just a staged bit meant to generate publicity?
According to Us Weekly, it was very much the former.
"Nicki was livid with Miley and decided to air her feelings onstage," an insider tells the tabloid. "The anger was very real and not a pre-planned bit at all."
You could tell by Miley’s reaction (and subsequent jumbled response) that she was taken aback by Minaj’s attack.
After Nicki called her by that bad word, Miley referenced the basis for their feud and replied:
"Hey, we are all in this industry and we all do interviews and say s–t… Nicki, congratuf–kinglations."
This back-and-forth stemmed from an interview Cyrus gave last week to The New York Times in which she slammed Minaj as "angry" and said Nicki handled her supposed VMA snub all wrong.
The Us Weekly source goes on to say that MTV staffers "had to be sure Nicki and Miley didn’t cross paths for the rest of the evening because they were legitimately worried about a confrontation happening."
We know Kanye West is actually being considered for the gig… but may we suggest Cyrus and Minaj as co-VMA hosts in 2016?
Who would not tune in to see that?!?
