It's been two weeks since Josh Duggar admitted to cheating on his wife with at least one prostitute, and several members of his massive family have already spoken out in response to the scandal.
Michelle and Jim Duggar slammed Josh in an uncharacteristically harsh statement.
Jessa Duggar made a vague comment about her brother's misconduct at last weekend's Southern Women's Show.
Now, Jill Duggar is addressing the scandal for the first time, and it seems that like the rest of her family, she's through making excuses for Josh.
“August has been a busy month for us and as so many of you know it has ended on a sad note for my extended family,” Jill wrote on her blog this morning.
“Please do pray for our family. We are so thankful for God’s grace during difficult days."
“It’s amazing to understand that there are so many people that deal with this exact same thing in their own families."
"So just being educated is very good.”
Jill's attempt to normalize the situation is a bit strange, as the vast majority of families don't have someone like Josh in them.
Still, at least she's stopped trying to explain away his actions.
Currently, Jill is on a missionary trip in El Salvador along with her husband Derick and son Israel. There's still now word on when they plan to return to the US.
