Now, a sneak peak for the upcoming reality series I Am Cait has revealed how the other kids learned the news. One of them in particular.
Members of the media who were at the screening of the E! show are sharing details about the bizarre first meeting between Caitlyn and Kylie.
Kylie is obviously a very modern, open-minded young woman, but she’s been candid about the fact that she’s struggled with this.
It’s easy to understand how a 17-year-old would some difficulty adjusting to the idea of her father’s new identity as a woman.
Of course, part of the problem might have been that when she was first introduced to Caitlyn, Kylie was high as a kite!
Don’t worry – Kylie was only "kind of loopy" off drugs administered by her dentist when she accidentally FaceTimed her dad.
We’ve all been there, are we right THGers? As the saying goes, FaceTiming and painkillers are the new drunk dialing.
Anyway, it was then that she came face-to-face with Caitlyn.
"I don’t want to scare you," Caitlyn told the youngest of her six children in that tense moment. Kylie’s heartwarming reply?
"You’re not scaring me – you look pretty!"
Even better? Later that same day, Kylie met Caitlyn in person and gifted him with a set of her signature teal hair extensions.
Like we said, the first encounter between Caitlyn and Kylie may have been a bit unusual – but it’s also sweet. And pure Kylie.
