Move over, Donald Trump.

Another outspoken Republican would like citizens to vote him into the Oval Office in 2016.

Speaking to reporters and a gathering of fans from Livingston High School in New Jersey, Chris Christie officially announced himself this morning as a 2016 Presidential candidate.

"Everything started here for me," Christie said for why he chose his alma mater to make this announcement.

"The confidence, the education, the friends, the family and the love that I’ve always felt for and from this community when I decided to make this announcement."

Christie also gushed about his children and his wife, the latter of whom he said is "largely responsible for the four amazing people you see standing with her."

It’s long been suspected that Christie would run for President, though he remained publicly undecided as recently as last week.

Christie said today "he is now ready to fight for the people of the United States of America” and that “we must tell each other the truth about the problems we have and the difficulty of the solutions.’

He is the 14th major contender seeking the GOP nomination.

But he’s probably the best dancer.
