Despite his own musical ventures, Trace Cyrus remains best-known as the older brother of Miley Cyrus.

But there’s more to the 26-year-old than just being a member of the Cyrus clan. He dated fellow Z-lister Brenda Song (Andrew Garfield’s girlfriend in the Social Network), and he’s freaking covered in tattoos:

Like, forget about "sleeves," this guy has a full-blown tattoo shirt, and apparently Trace’s Hot Topic employee circa 2004 look isn’t very popular in his home state of Kentucky.

"A restaurant in Kentucky wouldn’t let my brother in because he has tattoos," Trace’s little sister Noah wrote on Instagram, along with the above photo.

"That is so messed up and it really pisses me off that it’s even legal to do such a thing. The way I see it is he is completely made of art and if they knew him on the inside then they would know that’s the truth. I love my brother and it brings me to tears to know someone would do that to him or anyone for that matter."

There are two sides to every story, and the restaurant involved has yet to issue a statement on the matter, but we agree that it’s messed up that the guy got booted for his tats, if that’s how it really went down.

Either eay, it’s easy to see why 15-year-old Noah would feel so strongly about the rights of the heavily-tatted.

Based on Trace’s Illustrated Man look and Miley’s "Love Yer Brain" tattoo, Noah should start showing signs of the regrettable ink gene any day now.
