Klaus compelled Gia to set herself on fire on The Originals Season 2 Episode 21.
He also forced Marcel to kill Rebekah if she tried to escape from her room in the compound. And he stuck a dagger deep into Elijah’s heart. And he took a chunk out of Cami’s neck.
And he had Deliah use the Crescent Moon curse to return Hayley and company to werewolf form.
But it was all a ruse.
For the entire hour, it seemed as if Klaus would truly go to any length in order to protect Hope; in order to enact revenge against his family and ensure his child’s powers are kept at bay by Dahlia.
However, once his rivals were all defeated and he was left with just his daughter and his aunt, Klaus denied Dahlia the chance to link herself to Hope.
He insisted instead that she link herself to him, the immortal hybrid, in order to break her sleep curse.
As Klaus was convincing Dahlia of this plan, Cami awoke and we learned that Klaus got inside her head (after not actually killing her, obviously). He told her of his grand plan to kill Dahlia.
She got Elijah up to end the episode and we were left to wonder just what sort of game Klaus is playing as we head into The Originals Season 2 Episode 22.

- Davina was chosen as Regent of the witches in New Orleans and vowed to put them back on top.
Pretty crazy episode, huh? We get that Klaus is stringing Dahlia along… but Gia really is dead, right? And the werewolves very much seem to be werewolves again.
