Man, Damon was right:
Caroline really is a bitch when she's hungry.
And the humanity-free blood sucker was downright ravenous on The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 19, as her friends attempted to bring back the rainbow-and-unicorn-loving Caroline Forbes we all know and adore.
Did they succeed?
The plan to lock Caroline and Stefan in a bed-and-breakfast did not go very well at first. The former simply lashed out, growing angrier by the minute and even burning a letter from her late mother before she could read it.
She also got very personal with Damon and Elena, reminding them of the fantasy life they are living because each knows they can never be normal; they cant hold down jobs or have kids or really be a regular family.
This has been a pressing issue for a few weeks now for the couple... and Damon hasn't seemed anxious to do anything about it (read: tell Elena he has The Cure).
But Lily stepped in and forced the topic this week.
Angry over her missing Ascendant (which Bonnie stole, but she believed Damon to have taken), Lily presented The Cure to Elena, who was angry at first that Damon hid it from her.
That anger eventually faded away, however, and the couple had itself an important talk.
As you'll note when you watch The Vampire Diaries online, Elena at first refused to take it, only to be stunned by Damon's response: I love you. I always want to be with you. So we'll BOTH take it.
This is how the hour came to an end.
Prior to the shocking development, Caroline did eventually come around. She was about to kill Stefan when her touch elicited a memory from him; it was of her mother and of how much she loved Caroline and that finally did it.
Caroline's humanity returned, though it left her feeling very guilty over all she had done with the switched turned off.
Finally, elsewhere, Lily was so very angry that she killed an innocent pedestrian, making us think The Ripper is about to return on The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 20.
We can't wait!
