Sunday on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 21, a one-week Philippines Detente crumbed on the Bravo hit as tensions rose once more.
NeNe Leakes, or Nay-Nay if you will, was at the center of the feuding as usual.
It didn't have to be that way, or so it seemed at the onset of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 21, in which Phaedra Parks held a rally.
"My boys miss their father," said Phaedra, whose ex-husband Apollo Nida is in prison for fraud. "I want to give my sons and others strong black role models."
As such, she organized a "Save Our Sons" event to empower boys and fathers to be better men by having successful African-American leaders mentor them.
Sounds like a worthy and drama-free event, but we all know how that goes.
NeNe ended up storming out (not the first time, as you know if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online) after Claudia brought up her bailing on therapy.
"I don't think it's cool to come at one person," Leakes said, before slowly becoming irked. "You full of s--t. Now take that to the bank and cash that damn check."
"Claudia don't want to take it the street," the O.G. ATL housewife said, calling newcomer Jordan "not important ... I'm trying hard not to be Nay-Nay."
"Every time I'm around, it's always negative," added Leakes, who took off her apron and left the rally. "They want to dim my light so they can shine bright."
Clearly not a lot of love lost between Claudia Jordan and NeNe Leakes.
While a;; this was going on, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker struggled with a different set of issues as their one-year wedding anniversary approached.
"We really need to step up our game in the bedroom," Burruss said.
To wit, she went to surprise Todd Tucker with a ridiculously cleavage-tastic dress after a long separation, asking her man, "Do you still want a baby?"
He hesitated. Not the response she was looking for right there.
"I'm definitely hesitant to bring a baby into this marriage," he replied, noting that he is trying to blend families, deal with Mama Joyce and "build his own empire."
"Who has time for a baby?"
Damn, T. That stings.
