The Bachelorette will feature a twist unlike anything we’ve ever seen this summer when Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe both star on the ABC show.

At least at the onset, until the 25 men cast on the show decide which one of The Bachelor beauties from the 2015 season they’d most like to pursue.

After we learned which lady Chris Soules chose on The Bachelor finale – the same one The Bachelor spoilers told us all season – came the big question:

Who among the rest of the women we got to know during Chris’ "journey" for love would begin her own after being chosen to hand out the roses next?

Despite overwhelming live studio audience support to see Kaitlyn Bristowe The Bachelorette over Britt, it’s not an either/or scenario. Not for now, or us.

Both ladies will be kicking off the 11th season, and will have 25 potential suitors choosing whether they want to get to know one woman or the other.

Once opponents in the fight for Chris’ heart and Soules (sorry), Britt and Kaitlyn came on stage, now rivals again, to speak with host Chris Harrison.

Harrison joked, in reference to his propensity to hype such things, "See, sometimes I’m actually being honest when I say it’s a shocking moment!"

When she learned she wouldn’t be the sole Bachelorette, as previously rumored, Kaitlyn quipped, "I think what went through my mind was, ‘That’s not ideal.’"

"I’m super grateful," said Britt Nilsson, who ruffled plenty of feathers on The Bachelor this season but also garnered an inordinate amount of male attention.

She was a polarizing figure, one you love or hate or love to hate, but almost certainly have an opinion on. Only 25 opinions will matter in the end.

"I think it’s an amazing opportunity," she added. "It will be a lot of fun."

"It will be a lot of things," Kaitlyn said. "Fun might be one of them."

Just wait until they get in the hot tub together at the mansion.

Given this new twist, either Britt or Kaitlyn’s tenure as The Bachelorette will be over before it begins, which is sure to disappoint some of Bachelor Nation.

Still, it’ll certainly be interesting to see them get to that point.

What do you think? Britt Nilsson or Kaitlyn Bristowe? Who do you want to see for an entire season of The Bachelorette? And do you like the twist?
