As you probably know, Kanye West’s anti-Beck rant at this year’s Grammys rubbed some artists the wrong way.
One such artist is Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson. Manson slammed Kanye as a “complete tw-t” in a blog entry she posted the day after his public tantrum.
Now, it seems that Yeezy has privately responded to Manson’s criticism in confrontational fashion. Fortunately for us, the singer has fired back with yet another public tirade:
“Dear He who shall remain nameless,” Manson wrote on her Facebook page last night. “It is with great sadness that i read your email today.
“Clearly you have forgotten or are just generally unaware that in business it is always wise to be kind and respectful in your day-to-day dealings with other people. Especially those you have never met.
“Clearly you are unable to wrap your head around the fact that some musicians actually prefer NOT having to perform on children’s TV shows…Who most definitively do NOT want to be chased by paparazzi and who do NOT want to put their family name to some sh-tty, poorly made product in order to build a “brand” and who most definitely do not want to go out every night dressed to the nines to the opening of an envelope.”
Manson never mentions Kanye by name, but we think it’s pretty clear who she’s talking about. We’re guessing it’s only a matter of time before Manson is the subject of one of ‘Ye’s famous tantrums.
