It’s here! The Avengers Age of Ultron trailer that you’ve been waiting for.

Yes, we’re aware this is the third trailer for the summer’s most highly-anticipated film, but it’s also the one that’s finally showing us what we really want to see.

Namely, lots of badass explosions and our first glimpses of Ultron and Paul Bettany as Vision:

The Hollywood Gossip Logo

For those of you too busy with your social lives and sex partners to keep up with esoteric comic book characters, Vision is a good-guy android who can shoot radiation from his eyes.

You’re welcome. Now can we have out lunch money back?

Did we mention that Bettany is also the voice of Tony Stark’s robotic manservant J.A.R.V.I.S?! Yes, we’re easily excited.

Anyway, we also get our first real look at James Spader’s Ultron, and it seems the hulking Stark-created robot will be a slightly more worthy opponent for our band of heroes than the 140 pounds of Tom Hiddleston they went up against in the first film.

We also have Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlett Witch, and…suddenly we’re hoping this movie doesn’t make the classic comic book adaptation mistake of packing in its runtime so full of heroes and villains that there’s no room for story.

Fortunately, Joss Whedon is back to direct, so we remain confident that A2 will live up to the hype. The movie hits theaters May 1.
