Sad news, everybody: Apparently, Scarlett Johansson doesn't have Internet access, because the actress actually said (presumably with a straight face) that there's "nothing strange, creepy, or inappropriate about John Travlota."
ScarJo was specifically referring to photos of her being groped by Travolta at the Oscars.
"The image that is circulating is an unfortunate still frame from a live-action encounter that was very sweet and totally welcome," Says Scarlett. "That still photo does not reflect what preceded and followed if you see the moment live."
In one way, she speaks the truth. Video of the encounter reveals that Scarlett seemed to welcome Travolta's embrace. (Hey, to each her own.)
But does that qualify her to say that there's nothing creepy about Travolta?
They might say there is something slightly creepy about Travolta. And by "slightly creepy" we mean that he's a handsy weirdo and you don't want to let your drink out of your sight when he's in the room.
But hey, ScarJo seems to be okay with being on the receiving end of a classic Travolta-grope. Idina Menzel, on the other hand...Look, if you're gonna fondle someone, you can at least get their name right. That's just common courtesy.
