As you’ve probably heard by now, Bruce Jenner’s sex change has been confirmed. You may have also heard that Kris Jenner is decidedy not a fan of her ex-husband’s decision.
Sources say Kris is in “meltdown mode,” worried that Bruce’s transition will hurt the Kardashian brand, and concerned that his decision is the result of her shortcomings as a wife.
Yes, even though they’re no longer married, Kris and Bruce are reportedly at odds over his decision to transition, and Kris has taken to given Bruce a drunken piece of her mind:
One insider says that on Wednesday night, “Kris called Bruce after 9 pm and sounded like she had been drinking. She was slurring her words.”
As you might guess, Kris wasn’t calling to see if Bruce had a pair of pumps she could borrow.
“Kris said she’d endured several weeks of negative press about her reaction to Bruce’s big sex change announcement,” says the source.
“She wants him to issue a statement insisting that she has been supportive. Bruce is refusing to do it because Kris has been quite the opposite.”
As you might expect, Bruce responded by simply hanging up.
Kris is reportedly so concerned about the public reaction to Bruce’s sex change that the Kardashians have canceled their press tour that would’ve promoted the 10th season of their E! network reality series.
Sources tell Radar Online that while the rest of the family is primarily concerned with supporting Bruce during this difficult time, Kris’ main focus remains – as always – the bottom line and the public perception of her family.
