The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 12 Recap: Kordell is Back!

by at .

Last night on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 12, the ladies reflected on the drama in Puerto Rico, while Cynthia came to a decision.

What was it, and how would it impact relations with NeNe?

Meanwhile, Kordell Stewart is back! And macking on Claudia Jordan! Come along as we break down that interesting development and much more ...

If you didn't know: Kordell, Porsha Williams' ex-husband, is business partners with Peter Thomas, Cynthia Bailey‘s husband, in their venture Sports One.

It was the grand opening party of the fledgling business that brought Stewart back into the fold on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 12.

Cynthia brings Claudia Jordan and Kenya Moore, while Phaedra Parks, NeNe Leakes, Demetria McKinney, Kandi Burruss and Porsha all skip out.

It turns out Claudia has known Kordell since before the show, and Kenya tries to play matchmaker ... most likely just to bug the s--t out of Porsha.

“Is there a date for you two in the future? Kenya asks the former NFL star quarterback, who seems like he wants that: “If I ask her, I hope she says yes."

Claudia and Porsha both work for Rickey Smiley, so she has to tread lightly even if she admits she isn't really friends with her and doesn't care to be. Burn.

They flirt and swap numbers just the same. Claudia downplays the significance of her get-together with Kordell, but we imagine Porsha won't be happy.

In the trailer for next week's episode, it looks like there's a confrontation of sorts, making SURE we watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online.

Between Porsha's infamous beatdown of Kenya and Claudia coming at NeNe HARD last week, that is a clash of the TV titans you don't want to miss.

Speaking of NeNe, after Puerto Rico, Cynthia realizes she is not at all serious about rebuilding a friendship, and torches their old “friendship contact."

Literally. They put one together in writing in Season 3, half-seriously, and it is now set ablaze, ashes to ashes and dust to dust. Burn, baby, burn.

Meanwhile, Kandi is trying to have a baby with husband Todd Tucker, but their daughters Kaela and Riley have mixed feelings about the possibility.

And speaking of children, Apollo Nida bids a sad farewell to his own. “I’ll be home and hopefully you’ll come see me,” he says to his two small sons.

Next week, we will finally see the aftermath of his pre-prison fight with Phaedra, in which an irate, erratic Apollo threatenened to burn the house down.

If you follow the show and its cast members at all, you know that's a scene we've been waiting to see since the moment it all went down last September.
