Troubled Olympic legend Michael Phelps appeared in a Baltimore, Md., court this morning, entering a plea of guilty to a charge of driving under the influence.

The Baltimore Bullet certainly dodged one, but he’d better be careful.

He was given a one-year suspended sentence and 18 months probation in exchange for his plea. He will serve one year behind bars if he violates probation.

Phelps’ second career DUI occurred back on September 30.

Interestingly, the swimming sensation arrived at the courthouse alongside his mother, his sister and his girlfriend, Miss California 2010 Nicole Johnson.

The intriguing ancillary story to emerge from his DUI was his previously unknown relationship with Taylor Lianne Chandler, a D.C. woman who was born intersex.

Michael and Taylor Lianne Chandler have had zero contact since the arrest, she says, and he hooked back up with Johnson pretty shortly thereafter.

Phelps, who was arrested for driving with a B.A.C. of nearly twice the legal limit, checked into rehab following the incident, but has since left (obviously).

By the time Thanksgiving came around, he was home, and Nicole joined his family for the festivities, as evidenced by a photo he posted on Instagram.

Sorry Taylor. You’ll always have these sexy texts?
