The Bachelor star Chris Soules is riding high … and not just because of how the upcoming season turned out (see The Bachelor spoilers for more on that).
He’ll be in show’s first-ever Rose Parade float on January 1!
Oh yes, Prince Farming has been tapped to ride on the ABC franchise’s first-ever float at the 126th Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day.
Chris Soules won’t be alone there, either. Far from it, in fact.
The Bachelor host Chris Harrison, along with eight other Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni, will make for a D-list star-studded affair, just before the big premiere.
In keeping with the parade’s theme of “Inspiring Stories,” the float will feature some of the franchise’s most successful and inspiring relationships through the years.
Obviously, that means Trista and Ryan Sutter, who just celebrated their 11th anniversary, and Jason and Molly Mesnick, married for nearly five years.
Will Chris soon join them in the exclusive marriage club?
We’ll have to wait and see, but signs point to yes (see above link).
The Bachelorette’s Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried will also be present, plus Sarah Herron and Marquel Martin … who aren’t dating but are very popular.
The float will be adorned with champagne flutes, a hot tub, wedding bands … plus the obligatory roses and corn husks straight from Soules’ Iowa farm.
The Bachelor star will “stand upon a wrought iron balcony beside a silver tray laden with roses,” much like in the ceremonies for which the show is so famous.
Let the cheesiness begin January 1, with the show’s 19th season premiere just a few nights later on Monday, January 5. It’s going to be straight up epic.
