Nothing says “family” or “Christmas” like a magical card from True Tori star Tori Spelling, who released her family’s annual holiday photo yesterday afternoon.

Featured are Tori herself, embattled husband Dean McDermott, and the couple’s four children Liam, Stella, Hattie, and Finn. All on a comfy white bed!

“It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner,” Spelling, 41, wrote on her EdiTORIal blog. “This year went by so quickly, didn’t it?”

It has indeed been a year to remember … or forget.

Just about a year ago now, Tori learned that Dean spent a business trip to Canada getting it in with Emily Goodhand, some random he met up north.

After that, McDermott checked himself into rehab for about a month, and we were given hundreds of cringe-inducing reasons to watch True Tori online.

The show was basically spawned by Dean’s affair.

Actually no, we take that back. It was spawned by Dean’s affair. There is no other reason for the program, making it among the more shameless ones ever.

Chronicling the struggles of their marriage after McDermott’s tryst, True Tori has arguably made the celebrity couple’s life even more tumultuous.

Spelling was hospitalized after falling ill with pneumonia and severe bronchitis (and possibly elements of a nervous breakdown as well) just last month.

The two are either barely on speaking terms or constantly butting heads – mostly over the show, which Dean quit supposedly – and remain on shaky ground.

Can they make it? Only time will tell.

Despite her experiences, Tori said on her blog that she is very relieved to be entering the holidays, which is her “absolute favorite time” of the year.

“From the cooking to the crafting to the gift giving and the festive décor, I find that there’s just something about this season that makes me happy,” she says.

“And the kids love it, too. It’s also so much fun to see everyone’s beautiful holiday cards come in. I have so many amazing and supportive people in my life.”

“I’m super grateful [for all of those people]. During the holidays I like to remind them how much I truly love and appreciate each and every one of them.”
