On The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Episode 17, the men of the Garden State joined in for the second part of an explosive reunion special.
Teresa Giudice still ended up receiving much of the attention, however, and how could she not, given the events of this fall and her looming prison term?
In many ways, The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Episode 17 was more of the same, such as her "I didn’t understand my plea deal" defense.
An pre-recorded montage of Teresa Giudice rolling her eyes and repeating the same four or five sound bites could have passed for the real thing here.
Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, was then asked if he blames Teresa’s husband, Joe Giudice, for the fact that his sister is going to jail for the next 15 months.
"I don’t know. Do I blame him?" Joe mused.
"It happened. I’m not blaming anybody."
Very committal and convincing there.
Then things got more interesting.
If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online, you remember Jim Marchese’s comment that Rino Aprea was "banging" a Russian stripper.
Rino did indeed date a stripper, Teresa Aprea clarifies, after his divorce from Teresa and before they remarried. "Rino did not cheat," Teresa insists.
Still no word on whether Rino banged her mom.
Teresa Aprea’s twin sister, Nicole Napolitano, confirmed she is still living with her parents and is still not engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Bobby Ciasulli.
This led to an unexpectedly long focus on Bobby.
Dina Manzo, who implied that he might have been using her, may have been on to something, according to Jim, who wants to take down his ex best friend.
Jim claims Bobby is only dating Nicole to be on the series. "He wanted to be on the show," Jim says. "He would have done anything to be on the show."
Amber then says that before Nicole signed on, he "was waiting for the contracts to come in … [if they] weren’t coming in, he was hightailing it out of there."
Defying Andy’s no reunion props rule (after Porsha Williams beat down Kenya Moore) Jim pulls out photos of Bobby over the years to prove he’s a fame whore.
Bobby insists he’s not, but his claims that he just happened to be there at all of these events featuring the women don’t exactly come across as convincing.
Dina Manzo can’t believe what she’s hearing.
"This show," she says, "is so f—ked up."
No arguments here.
