Remember when Oprah Winfrey tore James Frey to shreds in a televised sit-down?
The interview with David Clarke on Revenge Season 4 Episode 6 made it appear as if Oprah went easy on the Million Little Pieces author.
Snarked Nolan to Victoria prior to the event: “I just love live TV. You never know what’s going to happen.”

Then again, Nolan never would have predicted that David would pull him in front of the camera to publicly accuse him of cheating "Amanda" out of her hundreds of millions of dollars.
“She died without knowing that you betrayed her, that you betrayed me, and for that, I will never forgive you,” David vowed.
Cut later to Nolan’s residents and a visit from David. After some talk about the money and letting David’s daughter die, Nolan referred to David as a “father” and – BAM! – was clocked in the face for doing so. On cue, Emily showed up and heard it from her best pal.
"Your lie finally caught up to me," Nolan told Emily.
While Nolan was getting it from David in multiple ways, Emily was checking out the silo prison Conrad had allegedly built for David. Why was there no rust about the bottom of the bed? Had David conjured up this entire story?
(SPOILER ALERT: Yes.)
As for Charlotte, her night out with that tattooed guy ended with her all bloody… and him all dead. So Emily helped out with a cover story, only Charlotte took this opening to accuse Emily of killing Aiden.
This prompted Emily to tell her the truth about Victoria’s role Aide’s death, which finally led Charlotte to check into rehab. After she told Daniel an unknown secret.
Louise, meanwhile, kept being all crazy. She tried to crash a lunch with Victoria and Margaux, but got shot down by the latter. Victoria referred to her as an obsessed lunatic. Now, it looks as if Louise has set her crazy sights on Margaux.
Finally, Ben looked more closely into Conrad’s murder. The unexpected “heart attack” of an officer involved with the case caused him to discover the double infinity symbol in said officer’s basement.
So while Jack has planned to keep his distance from Ben, it’s now clear that he’ll need to keep a close eye on him instead.
