In the middle of this summer’s celebrity nude hacking scandal, Anna Kendrick offered up one of the funniest responses to date.

In reply to her brother’s Tweet that he was relived NOT to have seen his sibling’s name in a list, Kendrick wrote:

“Don’t worry bro, it would just be photos of food and other people’s dog anyway” if her phone were hacked.

But, in an interview with the latest issue of Marie Claire, Kendrick takes a more serious tone when the topic of The Fappening is broached.

“I’m so infuriated on behalf of those girls,” the actress says of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and the many celebrities whose birthday suits were leaked online a couple months ago.

In regard to the hacker himself (or herself, we suppose), Kendrick adds that she’s “bummed out that people feel like that’s something they can do.”

The one-time Oscar nominee, meanwhile, will appear this fall as Cinderella in the big screen version of Into the Woods.

“The interesting thing about her is she overthinks things, she’s uncertain – we don’t see that in most versions,” Kendrick explains of the famous character.

“In a lot of ways, I think it’s this incredibly brave story. She’s neglected and abused her entire life… she finally gets love and it’s not the kind of love she was looking for, and she stands up for herself.”

Kendrick knows a thing or two about not getting live.

She says she’s aware of some of the criticism out there and she has a pretty great response to it.

“The most common thing that I get is, ‘Am I the only one who doesn’t think that Anna Kendrick is pretty?’ And you’re like, ‘No, you’re not the only one. Arguably, all of the boys in my high school agree with you.'”

Anna Kendrick FTW, people.
