Victoria Gotti has apparently passed a lie detector test pertaining to the rumor she spread about Rino Aprea on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Taken and passed, according to reports.
The mobster’s daughter is challenging her co-stars on the Bravo series to take a polygraph test as well, and settle the bombshell rumor once and for all.
If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online, you know Gotti told Teresa Giudice and Amber Marchese that Rino Aprea boned his own mother-in-law.
Teresa Aprea, her twin sister, Nicole Napolitano, and Rino, have all denied the claim, which has rocked the cast to its core this season on the series.
So is that story true or is it not?
Victoria, along with Jim Marchese, have stood by their story, and to the extent that you can trust a lie detector test, one appears to back up her story.
An investigator asked Gotti:
- “Did Rino Aprea tell you his marriage had broken up because he had an affair with his mother in law?”
- “Are you lying when you state that Rino Aprea told you his marriage had broken up because he had an affair with his mother-in-law?”
- “Do you intend to answer my questions truthfully?”
- “Did you ever lie in the past five years to get yourself out of serious trouble?”
Judd Bank of CPI Investigations says that after examining Victoria Gotti’s polygraph results, it is believed they “showed a strong and consistent response.”
Therefore, in the opinion of this examiner, the subject was “being truthful regarding the pertinent questions asked” about Rino Aprea and his wife’s mom.
Victoria Gotti decided to take the test because she had felt bad about how “things unfolded” on the show and is “absolutely disgusted by” the other women.
“She was manipulated into revealing the story about Rino by Teresa and Amber, and became the fall guy for something that had nothing to do with her.”
“Victoria is appalled by how these women have acted.”
Gotti’s rep, Steve Honig, confirmed the test was taken and added. “It would certainly be interesting if some of the others involved in this took a polygraph as well.”
We know Teresa Giudice is really bad at lying, so you can cross her off the list. In fact, if she gets blamed for this one more time, we know how she’ll react …
