Tuesday night on Dance Moms Season 4 Episode 33, Abby Lee Miller found herself under heavy scrutiny as some of her previous actions were called into question.

That’s pretty much what a reunion show is all about, right?

In the wake of the two-part season finale that saw the team travel to Hollywood, Dance Moms Season 4 Episode 33 sought to pick up the pieces somewhat.

Not surprisingly, there was plenty of shouting involved …

When you watch Dance Moms online, you know the moms are all out for blood, and that Abby isn’t afraid to show them who the boss is, like it or not.

This is the premise of the show, basically, but nevertheless, this reunion felt like one giant fight waiting to happen from the opening moments last night.

Hilariously, they are dressed to the nines in evening gowns, completely belying the absurdity of the behavior that follows for an entire hour on Lifetime.

Watching them feign class and attempt to take the self-righteous high road is comical, given that their actions and words often indicate the total opposite.

Abby Lee Miller clashes frequently with Holly and Christi, mostly over the solo assignments for Nationals, which are still fresh in the two moms’ minds.

This is like U.S. Congress, though. Instead of straightening out any misconceptions or working to find common ground, none of them will give an inch.

The only thing they can find consensus on is ganging up on other parents, such as Jeanette Cota, who gets lambastd for her clingy behavior at ALDC.

She storms off after just a few minutes on set.

Miller, who recently said regarding her Abby’s Studio Rescue spinoff that dance moms are worse than studio owners to deal with, touches on this again.

She says moms should not be allowed in the studio, period, because it can’t be beneficial for their independence and growth to have parents lurking.

Of course, we’d have no show if this were true.

Nothing about ALDC requires parents to be present, though, yet they seem to be around the clock. Even Abby thinks they might show a little restraint.

Given that she’s being sued by Paige Hyland and has an ego the size of Hollywood, where she’s reportedly moving, you can take that with a boulder of salt.

Still, one wonders if this doesn’t play a role in her wanting to leave Pittsburgh for L.A. What do you think of her comments, and what did you think of the reunion?
