A truck carrying 44,000 pounds of Miller High Life was stolen from a rest area outside of Orlando, Fla., earlier this week, leaving driver Van Thomas stunned.

The Hollywood Gossip Logo

He’d driven a semi truck for years before he could afford his own rig, which he bought about three weeks ago to start his own business and make a better life.

Driving from Texas to Pompano Beach, Fla., Thomas was on his last stop before a delivery when his truck was shockingly stolen from a rest area.

Its cargo: Tens of thousands of beer bottles. That’s living the High Life.

The good news? The truck and most of its cargo have been located.

The bad news? This theft is the fourth such robbery of its kind lately.

In Florida alone, 180,000 eggs were stolen earlier this year in Fort Myers, and a truck full of Hershey’s chocolate was stolen last December in Volusia County.

A truck full of Slimfast was also stolen near Orlando, leading us to wonder if all the crimes are related, and whether it’s a college freshman doing it.

Seriously, that person might want to rethink their dietary paterns.
