Earlier this week, we learned that Prince Harry’s 30th birthday party would be postponed due to Kate Middleton’s severe morning sickness.
The new date was kept under wraps, but now it looks as though the big shindig is going down tonight – and Harry is due to get exactly what he wanted as a present.
And no, we’re not talking about the Labrador puppy Harry reportedly asked for.
Pop singer Ellie Goulding will perform at the party at the personal request of Harry, and some close to the Prince believe he’s interested in more than Ellie’s music.
Reportedly, Harry is still dating Camilla Thurlow, but a little thing like a monogamous relationship is unlikely to keep him from getting what he wants.
For her part, Ellie is involved with Niall Horan of One Direction, but it’s rumored to just be a fling.
Goulding is a longtime friend of the royals, and she even performed at Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding.
So the whole thing could be totally innocent. Of course, British media outlets report that Harry and Ellie were spotted “cuddling” backstage at the Invictus Games, and she’s reportedly prepared an especially “intimate” acoustic set for his birthday.
Cuddling? Intimate? Man, why don’t these two just go get a palatial bedchamber already?
