Kris Jenner is sticking up for her daughter.

With Kendall Jenner facing accusations that she dined and dashed from a New York City restaurant last week – leaving without paying the bill and then throwing money in the face of the waitress when confronted about it – mother Kris appeared on E! News last night and rejected this rumor.

“She’s the most respectful little girl in the world and would never do anything like that,” Kris said, explaining:

“Once she realized what was going on, she absolutely gave the woman the 30 dollars that she owed… and felt very horrible about the fact that somebody would do this and create these stories and start spreading things.”

The Hollywood Gossip Logo

That somebody is a waitress named Blaine Morris, who quit her job the night of the incident in question and who Kendall has threatened to sue for defamation.

Kris says her child may take legal action because she takes these things “very seriously and doesn’t want people to walk all over her, and we go back to the thing of people who are bullies and do things that are not honest.”

That sounds all well and good… except the owner of the restaurant at the center of this scandal (Mercer Kitchen) is a 40-year veteran of the business.

And he ALSO says Kendall got angry when the staff refused to serve her alcohol and left in a huff, purposely not paying and…. yes, hurling money in the server’s face when told to settle her bill.

“Kendall’s very serious about what people say and do and she considers her reputation everything,” Kris added. “And she feels like she did the most honest thing she could have done and was so nice.”

Maybe. Still, the only people sticking with Kendall’s side of the story at the moment are Kendall herself and her mother.
