Kate Upton’s curves are perhaps the greatest thing ever to grace the Internet, if not all of human civilization. Okay, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration.

Still, they’re worth discussing, and she’s appreciative of them as well.

The supermodel discusses her famous body in the new issue of Elle UK and opens up about how she reacts when people try to label her “healthy.”

“When I first started modeling, I was a normal catalog model,” the 22-year-old stunner says, “then, I became a woman, and I was really excited.”

You have no idea, Kate.

“I’m from Florida, where it’s all about bathing suits … You are ugly if you don’t have a curvy body. And I didn’t have one, and then I got one, and thought, ‘Yessss!'”

Again. No. Idea.

“Then people say: “Oh, wow, you’re healthy.’ And [I’m] like, ‘Wait … what?” Upton says of her weight. “I’ve been begging for this body my whole life!'”

What she wasn’t begging for was the attention from men. After landing her first ever Sports Illustrated cover in 2012, Kate admitted she “felt terrible.”

Being ogled wasn’t on her radar screen, but she’s learned to live with it and become the It Girl of modeling for three years running, with no end in sight.

While Kate Upton bikini photos are what she’s known for, she’s branched out with countless other fashion magazines and campaigns, and even acting.
