With 19 handsome, successful men remaining to woo Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette, the stakes are already getting higher than last week's premiere.
Back then, Chris Bukowski was crashing the party. Now, things are getting serious ... or at least as serious as guys doing stripteases and getting wasted can be.
We never said this was Emmy-winning television here.
Follow the link for The Bachelorette spoilers to learn the identities of her final four (and alleged winner!) if you dare. Then come along for our boozy Episode 2 rundown:
On The Bachelorette Season 10 Episode 2, the woman of the hour kicked off dating season by inviting Eric Hill on the first one-on-one date of the season.
After a short trip to the beach the duo were picked up by a helicopter and flown to Big Bear for a little fun in the snow and thus begins the string of exotic and totally unrealistic dates we'll see this season.
People, if a first date involves a helicopter ride, the planner of said date is either trying too hard or deserves to be married to you A$AP.
After showing Andi his moves on a snowboard and trying to teach her how to shred, the two retreated to a private cabin at Big Bear Lake for a fireside dinner.
They talked of stuff and things like how Eric came to be an adventurer and whether or not he would give up that quest for a family.
It was a somber moment knowing that Eric Hill died in a paragliding accident after being eliminated from The Bachelorette.
But we have a few weeks to go until Eric's sent home. Last night he took home a date rose and returned to the house the envy of all the men there.
The following day, Andi took 14 of the men to a male revue where the guys channeled their inner Channing Tatum, giving sexy/hilarious strip teases for charity. FOR CHARITY! (Not just entertainment.)
Shy Marcus who made a good first impression on Andi was given a solo strip tease, which he rocked after locking eyes with the bachelorette herself. He eventually went on to earn the group date rose, but not before plenty of drama ensued when Craig Muhlbauer had a wee bit too much to drink.
Talk about a turn in the drunk tank, Craig has SO much to drink he jumped into a pool, fully clothed, and then proceeded to strip again, albeit in a far less sexy manner. He eventually bared his backside (and probably his frontside) to the other guys on the date. Stay classy, Craig!
Josh Murray made a huge impact on Andi Dorfman by straight up telling her not to pigeonhole him into the role of stereotypical athlete. That's not who he is. He hasn't dated in 5 years because he just hasn't found the right girl to date. Andi's eating up everything he's feeding her.
Farmer Chris got the second one-on-one date of the week and he and Andi were off to the races! Chris cleans up nice and rocks that cute little bowtie.
After betting on some horses and sipping some mint juleps, a delightful older couple asked how long Andi and Chris had been together and then shared their story of 55 years together, inspiring hope in audience members everywhere that this really IS a quest for true love.
The planted old couple is a Bachelor/Bachelorette trademark move, but it doesn't even matter because old couples are just that adorable.
Craig got the first kiss of the season.
During the cocktail party, the men each took turns stealing Andi away for some alone time and Josh Murray put the moves on Andi Dorfman after spouting off an adorable ramble that left him giddy and blushing. It was bizarrely cute and earned him the second kiss of the season.
Craig tried to salvage his reputation and his time in the mansion by writing a song for Andi apologizing for his drunken behavior on the group date and while she chuckled along with him while he sang, that just wasn't enough to save him and turned out to be his swan song.
He was pretty weird, anyway. No loss there.
So, how's the rose count so far? Here are the 16 men still hoping to win Andi's heart:
Roses: Josh Murray, Pat Jagodzinski, JJ O’Brien, Eric Hill, Marquel Martin, Tasos Hernandez, Bradley Wisk, Brian Osborne, Dylan Petitt, Marcus Grodd, Brett Melnick, Andrew Poole, Chris Soules, Ron Worrell, Nick Viall and Cody Sattler.
Eliminated: Craig Muhlbauer, Nick Sutter, and Carl King.
But not to worry, Nick, Craig and Carl. EEES OKAY! You can always watch The Bachelorette online and make fun of it now just like this rest of us!
