Maxim magazine has revealed its Hot 100 List for 2014, and it was Victoria’s Secret supermodel and South African beauty Candice Swanepoel coming out on top.
A bit of a surprise choice, albeit a worthy one.
The 25-year-old bested 99 other stunners for the top spot in the publication’s annual rankings. Check out who else made the Top 10 in the gallery below:
“It’s a huge honor to be Maxim’s No. 1, among so many beautiful and talented women! It’s a great feeling,” Candice Swanepoel said of this prestigious honor.
Meanwhile, Maxim creative director Paul Martinez said: “Candice Swanepoel is the ideal embodiment of the new Maxim brand: stunning, sophisticated, elegant.”
“It’s not only her flawless beauty and effortless grace that garnered her the coveted 2014 Hot 100 Number 1 placement, but also her business acumen.”

Swanepoel takes the throne from Miley Cyrus, who, before any official word leaked, revealed via Twitter that she she won in 2013. She fell to #25 this year.
