Kim Novak made a rare public appearance last night
The actress, best known for her role in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1968 classic Vertigo, presented Best Animated Short Film and Best Animated Feature Film alongside Matthew McConaughey at the 2014 Academy Awards.
But no one was talking about the winners afterward, or even the hunk by Novak’s side.
All Twitter could focus on was this star’s unusual appearance.
Due to her plump cheeks, high eyebrows and stretched lips, social media was abuzz with jokes at Novak’s expense.
“Kim Novak has had so much plastic surgery she can’t actually speak #Oscars,” wrote one Twitter user, while another added:
“Kim Novak’s face just won for “Frozen.”
In 2010, Novak revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and also opened up about her bipolar disorder two years later.
She certainly appeared a shade out of it while on stage… but she’s also 81 years old.
