Three more aspiring trophy wives got the boot on The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 5 Monday night as Juan Pablo Galavis and his crew traveled to Vietnam.
Who were they? Were The Bachelor spoilers correct? How did we arrive at that point, and are the two frontrunners still in the mix (and wreaking havoc)?
Find out in THG's recap of the heart-stopping installment below ...
After the excited ladies arrive at Da Nang Vietnam, Renee landed the first one-on-one date of the night and it was HOT. Literally, she was covered in sweat
She was flattered and impressed when Juan Pablo Galavis ran to get her a fan while she was getting her custom-made dress fitted for a night out, however.
The other one-on-one date went to Nikki Ferrell, of course. This did not go over well with many people in the house, who think she's there for the ...
... wait ... just wait for it ...
... WRONG REASONS!
Okay, no one came out and used The Bachelor cliche to end all cliches, but she has been accused of being a different person around him than not.
Perhaps appropriately, the couple's date involved them rappelling down into a cave called “Hell,” before they dined for dinner. It was, like, so scary.
Hey, she was willing to put her life on the line for Juan Pablo, though, and if you can get through that kind of journey together, it bodes well for life.
Or so we're told. Something like that. Don't tell Alli, Clare, Chelsie, Cassandra, Andi, Danielle, Kelly, Kat and Sharleen, who were stuck on a group date.
Juan Pablo was impressed by Clare Crawley throughout the evening and she landed the group date rose. She could be the season's co-frontrunner.
Girl definitely goes after it. Afterward, she woke Juan Pablo up in the middle of the night and asked him to go swimming in the ocean with her.
Clare called it a “night of pure bliss,” leaving us to wonder if these two exchanged bodily fluids weeks before the fantasy suite comes into play.
Speaking of which, you have to think Clare Crawley and Nikki Ferrell are going to make it to the end. At least to the hometown dates. But who else?
Don't expect him to strip down in the sea with anyone else, though, because Juan Pablo realized he probably took it too far with her on this night.
Juan Pablo said that his daughter wouldn’t want to see all of that, which you have to respect him for, yet you can't blame Clare for getting upset about.
It was sort of like feeling rejected after the fact. She even said it was akin to him wanting the rose back (he didn't). So yeah, things got a little awkward.
At the end of the night, Kelly, Alli and Danielle got sent home … just as the spoilers predicted all along. Still, it's fun to see it play out just the same.
